1932 S Washington Quarter

The 1932-S Washington Quarter has the lowest mintage of the entire series, with just 408,000 coins struck for circulation. However, it seems that more collectors put roll quantities of this date together shortly after their minting, as pieces remain available in uncirculated grades. In grades Fine and below, the 1932-S carries a slight premium above the price of the 1932-D, which had a slightly higher mintage. In higher grades and especially uncirculated grades, the 1932-D commands higher prices due to its more limited availability.
